Sign the petition

Oppose Blair's appointment as middle-east 'peace envoy' by signing the petition here:

http://www.petitiononline.com/27062007/petition.html

The man is an unmitigated disaster and an evil scum bag. He should be on trial for the murder of hundreds of thousands and for the abuse of office. Roll on the day he is convicted and imprisoned for life. To have him strutting about the middle-east, grinning inanely whilst posing with tinpot dictators and preventing real peace, is not what the middle-east needs. It also puts my television at severe risk of having its screen smashed. His sucking up to the zionazis and neocons means he has zero credibility.

Who said it?

1. China is a big country, inhabited by many chinese.

2. I haven't committed a crime. What I did was to fail to comply with the law.

3. Whenever I watch TV and see those poor starving kids all over the world, I can't help but cry. I mean, I'd love to be skinny like that, but not with all those flies and death and stuff.

4. Sure there have been injuries and deaths in boxing, but none of them serious.

Dracula touted for Blood Bank Job

The poodle has been discussing with his master the prospect of a role as a 'middle-east envoy'. This is an obvious role for him after he offered his services to the Shrub to act as a page-boy for Condi Rice during the infamous 'turned-on microphone' summit. Allegedly the poodle is hungry for a 'big job' after a mere 10 years in Downing street acting as the acting US junior deputy secretary of state aka as prime minister. The White House have been gushing in their praise of the poodle and pointed to his active involvement in middle east peace issues throughout his tenure. His greatest contribution has undoubtedly been to the peace process in Iraq where millions are living in comfort and security thanks to his stalwart effort. He was also very actively involved in preventing a ceasefire that allowed Israel to continue bombing civilians in Southern Lebanon last year. Indeed nobody else has been more active in sticking their proboscis into the rectal cavity of the zionist reshime in Tel Aviv.

Small wonder that this move is already being applauded in Israeli government circles, because his track record of supporting every bombing by Israel is immaculate as is his record of condemning Palestinian terrorism at every possible opportunity. It remains unclear what the Palestinian reaction will be but no doubt Mahmoud Abbas will take his opportunity to stick his own proboscis into Blair's rear entry. However, I doubt whether he will have the red carpet rolled out for him in Gaza city as there appears to be a bit of a shortage of those, along with food, fuel and water. However guns, ammunition and misery are easily available commodities.

A history lesson

From Ilan Pappe:

The Gaza Strip is a little bit more than two percent of Palestine. This small detail is never mentioned whenever the Strip is in the news nor has it been mentioned in the present Western media coverage of the dramatic events unfolding in Gaza in the last few weeks. Indeed it is such a small part of the country that it never existed as a separate region in the past. Gaza's history before the Zionization of Palestine was not unique and it was always connected administratively and politically to the rest of Palestine. It was until 1948 for all intents and purposes an integral and natural part of the country. As one of Palestine’s principal land and sea gates to the world, it tended to develop a more flexible and cosmopolitan way of life; not dissimilar to other gateways societies in the Eastern Mediterranean in the modern era. This location near the sea and on the Via Maris to Egypt and Lebanon brought with it prosperity and stability until this life was disrupted and nearly destroyed by the Israeli ethnic cleansing of Palestine in 1948.

In between 1948 and 1967, Gaza became a huge refugee camp restricted severely by the respective Israeli and Egyptian policies: both states disallowed any movement out of the Strip. Living conditions were already harsh then as the victims of the 1948 Israeli politics of dispossession doubled the number of the inhabitants who lived there for centuries. On the eve of the Israeli occupation in 1967, the catastrophic nature of this enforced demographic transformation was evident ..... continued at link here

Chaos in Palestine

My fears of an Israeli attack on Gaza (predicted in the last post) are already beginning to be realised:

Israel plans attack on Gaza

No doubt this will lead to the kind of carnage we saw in Jenin some time ago but on an altogether greater scale. This is a massacre that has not yet happened but that we are sponsoring against people that dared to elect the wrong type of government. Meanwhile the misery and disorder goes on. Journalist Charles Levinson is on the scene, bravely writing up his experiences on his blog Conflict Blotter. Here is an excerpt:

I’ve had a busy day and haven’t had time to post much until now. We spent most of the day interviewing Fatah fighters and officers from the routed security forces. There is an important story to be told here, but I am going to hold off another day to tell it so I can do some more reporting and strengthen the case.

We visited the Tel al Hawa headquarters of the Preventative Security Services. After a bit of back and forth our persuasive fixer at last convinced Hamas to let us in and we were given free run of the place. The place was trashed, with papers and broken glass littered about all the offices. I looted some new Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigades stationary.

A pair of older generation Hamas members were there for a visit just as we were. They had come to see the jail cells where they were tortured in the 1990s. Hassan al Ayorki, a soft spoken 46 year old physics teacher, walked us through the interrogation rooms and cramped cells where he says he spent 59 days in 1996. He even found a wooden slatted stool, that sits about 20 cm off the ground which he was forced to sit on, bound and blindfolded for six straight days, he said. He wasn’t allowed to sleep and if he fidgeted or spoke he was beaten, he said. Once they signed a confession they were tossed into their cells for a week before they were dragged back up and endured another round of sleep deprivation and beatings.

“The only accusations against the people was that they had a beard,” he said.

The cramped cells had names and dates etched into the walls. The most recent dates were from mid-May of this year, just a few weeks ago. It’s a reminder of some of the deep rooted grievances that lie at the heart of this conflict.

At the Prime Minister’s office in Beach Camp we hung about hoping to grab a chat with Haniya, but no luck. Haniya’s guards were decked out in shiny black uniforms, remarkably similar to the ones the presidential guard used to wear. We’ve heard that the convoy of “weapons” that Hamas attacked in Nuseirat camp a few weeks ago turned out to be carrying nothing more than new uniforms and ever since then Haniya’s guards have been sporting new duds. Among the spoils reaped after Fatah’s collapse was a brand new black Land Rover for Haniya and a suped up sky blue Jeep Cherokee with grey leather interior and runner boards for his personal guard detail.

The Hamas guards milling about outside were eager to chat and hear our thoughts. Do you feel safer now they asked us. Kidnapped BBC journo Alan Johnston was repeatedly mentioned.

“If they don’t release him there will be a war,” one guard said. “We’ll take him by force.”

Another guard snapped his hands like he was striking somebody. “Dagmush,” he said and spat.

“If we get Alan Johnston back, will Britain recognise Hamas?” another asked me.

A new buzzword: Hamastan

The tragic events in Gaza are devastating to the Palestinian cause. The sight of Hamas gunmen dragging out a well-known Fatah hardman, shooting and stomping on his body is yet another disgraceful scene. No Palestinian should be fighting others while the zionist enemy chuckles at the success of its strategy. Both sides have disgraced the Palestinian cause. Chillingly, a new buzzword is already doing the rounds in zionist and US pro-zionist circles: Hamastan. Virtually every editorial mentions this word. Almost every editorial states that in Gaza now there is 'nobody to deal with'. One wonders if this is an indication of what they wanted all along. The zionists now have even more free reign to bomb, murder and kill people in Gaza using the simple pretext of 'destroying terrorist infrastructure'. The signs already look ominous. The US tactic of funding their own man Mohammed Dahlan has paid off. They provoked the power struggle that culminated in the sickening scenes on the streets of Gaza. Not only did they fund Dahlans security and intelligence apparatus but they allowed smuggling of weapons to Hamas as a dual strategy knowing that Hamas was a superior fighting unit. At the very least now they have an open excuse to keep the people of Gaza isolated, starving and sorrounded. The following article in the Washington Post illustrates the current thinking process in Washington:

The evolving U.S. strategy would let the Hamas-run Gaza Strip while attempting to bolster Abbas as a moderate leader who can actually govern and deliver peace with Israel. The senior administration official noted that fend for itself. Gaza has no territorial issues with Israel, since there are no Israelis in Gaza, so the Hamas entity there would have no stake in potential peace talks concerning the border on the West Bank.

Referring to Abbas, Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice told reporters yesterday that "we fully support him in his decision to try and end this crisis for the Palestinian people and to give them an opportunity to return to peace and a better future."

But analysts said yesterday that this strategy of dividing the moderates from the extremists -- which was the core of Bush's 2002 speech -- proved ineffective and may have led to the dilemma facing the administration.

Note how they say Gaza has 'no territorial issues with Israel'. Well, there is the small matter of the territory being sorrounded, blockaded and the water, electricity being controlled by Israel. Plans to cut off the electricity are already being discussed, although they deny that water will be cut off as well. They envisage aid to the PA in the West Bank but make no mention of the expanding occupation, the wall nor the expulsion of people from their homes in Jerusalem, Hebron and elsewhere. The editorials are as blinkered as ever pointing to Fatah's acceptance of Israel whilst denying that Hamas has repeatedly accepted the two state solution based on the 1967 borders. Now they want the Israeli and US governments to throw a few scraps towards Abbas so that they can again pretend that they are interested in peace and to provide another fig-leaf for the occupation. Alvaro de Soto revealed in his leaked report the constant bullying of the UN, the US obsession with preventing criticism of Israel and for promoting the violence between Fatah and Hamas. Indeed the US envoy twice declared in meetings that "I like this violence." This is not civil war but the political equivalent of cock fighting sponsored by the US. This was not a failure of policy for them but a calculated and cynical success.

The Killing Zone of Somalia

This is a chilling description of the murder of innocent refugees by US special forces in Somalia during the US-backed Ethiopian invasion. The lie in the media was that Al-Qaeda operatives were being killed. They weren't. These were innocent refugees fleeing the fighting. They just happened to be 'on the wrong side'. Chris Lloyd unravels the real story behind a recent article by Thomas Barnett in Esquire:

...the gunship attacks on refugees were just the first part of the secret U.S. mission that was "Africa Command's" debut on the imperial stage. Soon after the attacks, "Task Force 88, a very secret American special-operations unit," was helicoptered into the strike area. As Barnett puts it: "The 88's job was simple: Kill anyone still alive and leave no unidentified bodies behind."

Some 70,000 people fled their homes in the first wave of the Ethiopian invasion. (More than 400,000 fled the brutal consolidation of the invasion in Mogadishu last spring.) Tens of thousands of these initial refugees headed toward the Kenyan border, where the American gunships struck. When the secret operation was leaked, Bush Administration officials said that American planes were trying to hit three alleged al Qaeda operatives who had allegedly been given sanctuary by the Islamic Councils government decapitated by the Ethiopians. But Barnett's insiders told him that the actual plan was to wipe out thousands of "foreign fighters" whom Pentagon officials believed had joined the Islamic Courts forces. "Honestly, nobody had any idea just how many there really were," Barnett was told. "But we wanted to get them all."

Thus the Kenyan border area -- where tens of thousands of civilians were fleeing -- was meant to be "a killing zone," Barnett writes:

America's first AC-130 gunship went wheels-up on January 7 from that secret Ethiopian airstrip. After each strike, anybody left alive was to be wiped out by successive waves of Ethiopian commandos and Task Force 88, operating out of Manda Bay. The plan was to rinse and repeat 'until no more bad guys, as one officer put it.
At this point, Barnett -- or his sources -- turn coy. We know there were multiple gunship strikes; and from Barnett's account, we know that the "88s" did go in at least once after the initial gunship attack to "kill anyone still alive and leave no unidentified bodies behind." But Barnett's story seems to suggest that once active American participation in the war was leaked, the "killing zone" was abandoned at some point. So there is no way of knowing at this point how many survivors of the American attacks were then killed by the "very special secret special-operations unit," or how many "rinse-and-repeat" cycles the "88s" were able to carry out in what Barnett called "a good plan."

Modelled on Iraq

The media reports of the 'civil war' seem to be very much about Hamas mounting an offensive to 'completely take over Gaza'. Diplomats moan that there cannot be a peace process with people like this in charge. Abbas rings his hands publically in despair at the violence yet only a few weeks ago openly accepted arms and cash from Israel and the USA. The US-Israel backed 'preventative security' forces of Mohammed Dahlan have been sponsored to plunge the area into the very civil war the western media is now showing. After attacks on Hamas clan members and Dahlan's efforts to destabilize Gaza, perhaps it is not that surprising that Hamas decided to bomb his headquarters and to settle the power issue. If Fatah were interested in peace, they would not be threatening to kill Hamas people in the West Bank. Hamas had two choices , to hand their weapons in as demanded by Fatah and watch Dahlan take over, or to fight. Neither was a very palatable option but they had to choose. Tragically, Fatah has yet again become a Western pawn in a power game designed to smash Hamas and to remove its political support. Even more tragically Palestinians are dying fighting each other instead of the occupation. The Israelis and US neocons are loving every minute but innocent people are caught in the cross-fire and they despair at what is going on. This is what the zionists wanted - a miniIraq version of Gaza, with its own insurgency and sectarian war.
__________________________

Report from the Arab monitor:

Gaza, 13 June - UNRWA, the UN relief organziation for Palestinian refugees, suspended its mission in the Gaza Strip after two of his workers, both Palestinians, were killed today in the course of the ongoing armed confrontation between Hamas and Fatah armed forces.

The Hamas-affiliated Executive Forces are reported to have completely destroyed the headquarters of Mohammad Dahlan's Preventive Security Forces, organized and payed for by the United States. The Executive Forces are reported to have called on all armed forces of the Presidential Guard and the Preventive Security Forces to hand in their weapons within Friday this week.

Top Fatah leaders based in Ramallah have threatened to kill Hamas exponents all over the West Bank, if the Fatah-affiliated armed forces in the Gaza Strip were subdued by Hamas.

Diamond life

Life is very often more ironic than fiction. Such is the case of the non-corrupt nation of Great Britain seeking to punish errant Sierra Leone often described as 'The Jewel in Blair's foreign policy crown' [I thought that was supposed to be Iraq]. In fact it is such a shining example of progress, at least on the reconstruction front, that Blair could not bring himself to visit the wonderful slum capital of Freetown and instead chose to wander around the vicinity of the airport during his six hour visit. Shoppers will probably understand the attraction of browsing those duty-free diamonds in the air-conditioned airport building. He probably wanted something for Cherie as a 'leaving number 10' present. Blair non-corrupt government is to freeze £15 million of aid because of endemic corruption. Come on now...stop rolling about on the floor..It isn't that funny! Allegedly, Blair said things were a 'darn sight better now than five years ago', showing how George Bush has rubbed off on him in more ways than one. Of course the withholding of the money will have a devastating effect on the locally based community of international reconstruction consultants. According to Val Collier, former commissioner of the country's Anti-Corruption Commission:
'When money is given, checks and balances should be imposed. A large share of the money is spent on sending foreign consultants here to write reports; they come with their laptops in their slingbags, like intellectual mercenaries. Such spending does not put food in the bellies of the people of Sierra Leone.'
According to the anti-corruption commission of Sierra Leone, 95% of people believe that corruption is endemic in government. If you feel the need, you can report any corruption in confidence online secure in the knowledge that bugger all will be done about it, unless the person reported is an official enemy of the government. Not unlike the UK police, so they are learning something after all.

Ethical

BAE systems are setting up an 'ethics committee'. I suppose it is in line with a certain infamous 'ethical foreign policy', that has led to a record amount of bloodshed around the world. This committee will no doubt find a more ethical way to 'donate' £1.2billion pounds to Saudi ministers bank accounts and will ensure that all missiles and bombs are in-line with the latest british ethical kitemark standard. All denials of wrongdoing will be put onto a fast track to ethicality and co-ordinated with the already fully ethical attorney general's office. As long as all these ethical standards are met, who cares how many towelheads die as long as we get the oil and contracts for 'rebuilding'! The soon-to-be ex-PM Tony Bliar has backed the move saying:
"thousands of jobs depend on our ethical decision. If we don't supply the weapons of mass destruction, somebody else will and then we will have no choice but to invade in order to find them, leading to unnecessary blood shed, none of which will be our fault. My job is to advise on what is in the best interests of the country, particularly the bit which sells arms to foreign dictatorships."

Genghis Khan wonders whether his weapons are in-line with the Mongol ethical foreign policy.

Early man in Charleston County

Smithsonian Institute
207 Pennsylvania Avenue
Washington, DC 20078

Dear Mr. Williams:

Thank you for your latest submission to the Institute, labeled "93211-D, layer seven, next to the clothesline post...Hominid skull." We have given this specimen a careful and detailed examination, and regret to inform you that we disagree with your theory that it represents conclusive proof of the presence of Early Man in Charleston County two million years ago. Rather, it appears that what you have found is the head of a Barbie doll, of the variety that one of our staff, who has small children, believes to be "Malibu Barbie." It is evident that you have given a great deal of thought to the analysis of this specimen, and you may be quite certain that those of us who are familiar with your prior work in the field were loathe to come to contradiction with your findings. However, we do feel that there are a number of physical attributes of the specimen which might have tipped you off to its modern origin:

1. The material is molded plastic. Ancient hominid remains are typically fossilized bone.

2. The cranial capacity of the specimen is approximately 9 cubic centimeters, well below the threshold of even the earliest identified proto-homonids.

3. The dentition pattern evident on the skull is more consistent with the common domesticated dog than it is with the ravenous man-eating Pliocene clams you speculate roamed the wetlands during that time.

This latter finding is certainly one of the most intriguing hypotheses you have submitted in your history with this institution, but the evidence seems to weigh rather heavily against it. Without going into too much detail, let us say that:

A. The specimen looks like the head of a Barbie doll that a dog has chewed on.

B. Clams don't have teeth.

It is with feelings tinged with melancholy that we must deny your request to have the specimen carbon-dated. This is partially due to the heavy load our lab must bear in its normal operation, and partly due to carbon dating's notorious inaccuracy in fossils of recent geologic record. To the best of our knowledge, no Barbie dolls were produced prior to 1956 AD, and carbon dating is likely to produce wildly inaccurate results. Sadly, we must also deny your request that we approach the National Science Foundation Phylogeny Department with the concept of assigning your specimen the scientific name Australopithecus spiff-arino.

Speaking personally, I, for one, fought tenaciously for the
acceptance of your proposed taxonomy, but was ultimately voted down because the species name you selected was hyphenated, and didn't really sound like it might be Latin. However, we gladly accept your generous donation of this fascinating specimen to the museum. While it is undoubtedly not a Hominid fossil, it is, nonetheless, yet another riveting example of the great body of work you seem to accumulate here so effortlessly. You should know that our Director has reserved a special shelf in his own office for the display of the specimens you have previously submitted to the Institution, and the entire staff speculates daily on what you will happen upon next in your digs at the site you have discovered in your Newport back yard.

We eagerly anticipate your trip
to our nation's capital that you proposed in your last letter, and several of us are pressing the Director to pay for it. We are particularly interested in hearing you expand on your theories surrounding the trans-positating fillifitation of ferrous ions in a structural matrix that makes the excellent juvenile Tyrannosaurus rex femur you recently discovered take on the deceptive appearance of a rusty 9-mm Sears Craftsman automotive crescent wrench.

Gaza - the automatic killing zone

Israel is aiming to turn Gaza into an automatic death zone. Automatic gun and missile stations with a reach of several kilometres will target ANY moving object, child, adult or vehicle that unwittingly wanders into a 'no-go zone' inside their own territory. Just when you thought things could not get worse for the Gazans, this article in the Register paints a terrifying picture of the near future:
Both Jane's Defence Weekly and Defence News reported last week that the Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) have begun deploying automated gun stations in pillboxes along the Gaza border. The robot systems are said to mount cal-fifty (12.7mm) machine guns, protected by "armoured folding shields" until ready to fire...."each machine gun-mounted station serves as a type of robotic sniper, capable of enforcing a nearly 1,500-meter-deep no-go zone".
"The IDF's Southern Command is also considering adding Gill/Spike anti-tank missiles to extend the no-go zones to several kilometers, defense and industry sources here said."...
The implications are terrifying and horrific. Children and animals will be cut to ribbons or blown to smithereens whilst inside Gaza, simply for reasons of 'security'. Consider that the whole of the Gaza strip is less than 8 miles across with most of the 1950 armistice line dividing Gaza and Israel, being only 4 miles from the Gaza coast. This would put anything and virtually everything in the range of automatic killing machines. That amounts to a gross violation of human rights and an (another) illegal act under international law by the zionazi reshime in Tel Aviv. The gung-ho article goes on:
Not only do the IDF robo-snipers pack a more arse-kicking gun, their automatic armour-shuttered pillboxes seem a lot harder to circumvent than the Korean SGR-A1's "anti-theft alarm".What's more, there seems to be a future plan for the Israeli gun systems to become true killer robots rather than just remote hardened weapon stations."At least in the initial phases of deployment, we're going to have to keep the man in the loop," an unnamed IDF commander reportedly told Opall-Rome. "We don't want to risk making tragic and politically costly mistakes with such a lethal system."
That's OK then, as long as their is a period of grace before the whole of the Gaza population is blitzed to extinction. I'm sure the commanders will be crying into their bagels over murdering another few Palestinian kids, during the early testing period. Who wants to wipe who off the map? Murdering fuckers.

Integrated cohesiveness and CiP packs

The Ministry of Keeping Migrants Out of the UK is also keeping itself busy. Ruthless Kelly and Lie-am Burns have the job of daily coming up with new and ever more demanding hoops for migrants to jump through. The latest proposal is a new national 'British Day', in line with the 'citizenship' revolution which almost-PM Brown has insisted on.

Under this revolution, the teens of today will be in the enviable position of receiving a 'citizenship pack' to keep them in line with migrants and to create a sense of 'community pride'. Presumably, this CiP is like the unfortunate HiP for property sales but with an added inspection for dissenting tendencies and a full investigation to ensure that sufficient Britishness is retained in line with integrative cohesiveness targets. Allegedly, 3% discounts on repaying the student loan will also be offered in return for jury service and other essential civic duties like voting New Labour. Ruthless and Lie-am argue that the current policy is difficult to understand and unclear which is why:
'we are replacing it with a new 500 page dossier of regulations laying out the new integrated cohesive standards for Britishness with a check box to be ticked at the end of each page'.

Furthermore they issue a stark warning:
"there is a critical risk that after 40 years in which diversity has grown, Britain's communities stop looking outwards, celebrating what they have in common and instead begin looking inward, stressing their differences and divisions"

In line with this aim, compulsory Britishness celebration parties will be introduced and the citizen designate must attend at least one a year to keep themselves eligible for a temporary passport document and biometric identity card for a mere £350 a year.

These measures will also succeed in blowing away the 'toxic form of pollution around society' spread by people like muslims and the BNP. The government aims to respond quickly to a growing 'mood of nationalism' that is widely rejected by the BNP. Lie-am says that citizenship should be "earned and not handed out" and pointed to the decline of the rare white male in work species. It is predicted that by 2011 'only 20% of Britain's workforce will be white, abled-bodied men under 45.' This could have a disasterous knock on effect on the sale of esteemed organs such as The Sun, FHM and Nuts magazine. This touching concern for the indigenous population is shared by people like Margaret Bodge [Minister of State for Complaining About Bloody Immigrants] although she declined to comment, when asked to share her thoughts about the aboriginal population of Australia. Downing street is keen to link the current ethical foreign policy to overseas trade and aid packages given to countries that accept returns of illegal migrants and promise not to torture them (for at least 3 months).

Dodo screams blue murder

The zionazi are reacting in a typically dramatic and hysterical fashion, slinging accusations of anti-semitism at the UK, because a couple of unions have decided to boycott the Israeli academic establishment. This same academic establishment also provides support to the racist extremist policies of the Israeli state. The Israeli government is up in arms about the boycott. Israeli minister Isaac Herzog compared it to anti-semitic harassment in Europe. Dudu Himmelfarb, union leader said:
"If the British decide to go ahead with the boycotts, we will stop unloading cargo from British Airways aircraft and imports from Britain."
About time too, Dodo! There should be no exports or imports from your racist fascist state until it stops murdering innocent Palestinians and turfing them out of their homes in Jerusalem, Hebron and elsewhere.

The hysterical reaction to the boycott reveals the automatic tendency to furiously target critics by Israeli right-wing zealots. The british media such as the Guardian and the BBC are regular targets for accusations of pro-palestinian bias, in order to pressurise them to keep their output firmly biased against Palestinians. You can often see the effects of the organised campaign by the zionist lobby on the 'have your say' pages at BBC online or the CiF on the Guardian website. Accusations of anti-semitism often do produce the desired result, with editors toning down criticism of the racist state whilst increasing the coverage of inter-Palestinian violence. It is not unusual to see the Holocaust invoked either. "My god they have boycotted us, that is exactly like the holocaust. They want to help the Arabs to wipe us out", they scream. Never mind the fact that the zionists have got Palestinians blockaded into concentration camps, sorrounded by a 10 ft wall, cut off from each other, starving and thirsty. Never mind that Israel has hundreds of nuclear weapons and millions of conventional missiles compared to the tin rockets and AK47s of Hamas. The Israeli reaction is a feat over melodramatic overacting and tantrum-throwing rarely matched even in Indian TV dramas.

These histrionics are widely used in Israeli politics in order to gain sympathy from the US sponsors and to evoke even further hatred against Arabs. Criticism of Israeli policies in the West Bank and Gaza is seen as 'anti-semitism', and even mainstream figures equate the proposed boycotts of Israel with the treatment of Jews in Nazi Germany.

The problem is that the power of AIPAC and the zionist lobby screaming at their top of their voices tends to have a dramatic effect on the establishment. They will quickly find a way to reverse the decisions or to negate their effects. It will not stop the zionazi playing the role of victims though.
